Praying the Great Litany (June 1-7, 2020)

The Great Litany will be prayed together everyday this week at 11:30 am.
The Great Litany is an intercessory prayer including various petitions that are said or sung by the leader, with fixed responses by the congregation—sort of like a rosary but with broader content. It was used as early as the fifth century in Rome and was the first English language rite prepared by Archbishop Thomas Cranmer. It is particularly appropriate in times of plagues (what they used to call pandemics!), violence, and national anxiety.
Join us every day for prayer at 11:30 am from today (Whit Monday) through Saturday (June 6). Go to Zoom Meeting ID 836 7183 5634.
