Women’s Ministry

St. Mark’s Episcopal Church is committed to the women of the parish. In partnership with our parish life and adult formation committees – as well as in the context of programs designed exclusively for women – women’s ministries connects and empowers the women of St. Mark’s as leaders, parents, and believers.

We provide opportunities by which women develop abiding and life-giving friendships as we reach out with Christ’s love to one another and to the wider world.

At St. Marks, there is something for every woman. We warmly invite you to explore our ministry, learn about our programs, and join in the fun.

Discover Your Personal Mandala and Step More Fully into the Life You Desire

Saturday, 4/22/17 from 9am-1pm (Location TBA)

This month, we meet on Saturday! Come for a half-day, in-town retreat with parishioner (and healer, therapist, personal growth facilitator) Dr. Carolyn Faivre. Carolyn writes, “If you are a woman ready to step more fully into your life, I can help. Women come to me for a number of reasons: some come seeking direction as they find themselves at the threshold of change; some come in search of a more fulfilling and balanced way to live. For others, events outside their control have turned their lives upside down; they come needing to make sense of the resulting chaos. My process of mentoring, teaching and sitting in counsel helped these women during times of transition and change.”

Summer Reading Bucket List

Sandy Koropp, owner of independent bookshop Prairie Path Books in Wheaton, will once again join us to discuss her top picks for summer reads. Childcare available.
