Education for Ministry (EfM) is a unique four-year distance learning certificate program in theological education based on small-group study and practice. Since its founding in 1975, this international program has assisted more than 100,000 participants to discover and nurture their call to Christian service. EfM helps the faithful encounter the breadth and depth of the Christian tradition and bring it into conversation with their experiences of the world as they study, worship, and engage in theological reflection together.  Our Education for Ministry group meets at St. Marks on Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. via Zoom and in person.  We are now accepting applications for four more participants to start the next year in September, running into June 2024.  Sign-up will be in July of this year, and tuition is a $325, not including books and study materials.
