David Profitt
David grew up in Cape Town, South Africa and came to Chicago to study theology and music. He met his wife, from Canada, in Chicago at school and they have made their home in the Chicagoland area since graduation. David and his wife Kathryn have two children, Gavin (16) and Addy (14) they live in Glen Ellyn with their dog, cat and chickens. David has worked in the church for close to 20 years focusing on family ministries and missional service. David is in his final year of a masters of divinity program and is in process to becoming a licensed local pastor with the United Methodist Church.
David is looking forward to this season of serving at St Marks. He will be focusing on supporting the youth ministries and on pastoral care as he fills in for Joyce Fletcher during her time away.
